The three flaming colossi
This personal project entailed the creation of an advertisement campaign for a traditional event that takes place every year in the Italian town of Scanno.
During the days leading to the celebration, the three districts build three pyres, up to 20 metres tall, on the three mountains that surround the town. The night before St. Martin’s Day, the pyres are lit on fire, calling the beginning of the celebrations.

The USP identified for the campaign is the spectacularity of the power of fire.
The artwork represents the three pyres and the city of Scanno. the disproportionate size of the pyres and the looming perspective used aim to convey such power.
The headline translates to “discover the contest of the three flaming colossi”
Due to the decreasing number of young people attending the festival, the style used is quite modern, in an attempt to attract such demographic, while still maintaining a sense of gravity and traditionalism.
Other materials realised for this project include booklets, leaflets and gadgets.
