Arcadia

From the hive, to your table

This project is a branding proposal for a brand of apiary products, from the naming to the logo, to packaging design for the main products, to POP materials.

The brand prides itself in the purity of its products and the sustainability of their harvesting techniques. This reflects in the chosen naming, Arcadia, from the Greek region that was celebrated, especially during the Renaissance, as a bucolic idyll where man and nature live in harmony.

I created a custom packaging for the honey jar, shaped like a drop.
The inside of the drop in the logo is cut out, showing the real honey through the label.

Other products designed include propolis solution, honey and propolis-based beauty products, candles and candies.
On these products (with the exception of the candies) the logo is printed in hot foil.

Plastic and cardboard displays are cheaper and more suitable for regular supermarkets and grocery stores.

More elegant wooden displays are meant for higher-end food shops. On the left, a counter display for the beauty products. Logo and payoff are printed in golden hot foil, the drop on the top is a plastic pillow made to resemble honey. On the right, a floor display for honey jars. Logo and payoff are golden hot foil, The drop is made of plastic or resin. The jars can be placed in designated slots on the shelves that are lit up with LED lights, so that the light filters through the honey creating a beautiful effect.
